This screened porch was built using the existing 6x6 arbor posts to support the roof. By using a
laminated beam as the ridge, supported at one end with a post and attached to the house framing at the other end, a completely
open vaulted ceiling was possible. On the inside, the rafters are exposed and clear-sealed. This space provides a comfortable, safe,
bug-free environment for the children to play in.
