This deck & arbor project was an addition to the original deck. I built the original deck during
the construction of the house. Some more deck space was needed for the installation of a hot-tub. The arbor filters sunlight
as well as providing lots of places to hang plants and let vines grow up from below. The decking was installed parallel to
the sides of the existing deck to provide an apparently seamless transition from old to new. The lattice screen provides a
good deal of privacy considering it is mostly full of holes!
