Deck & Ramp - Woods - June 2001
This deck has a few nice features. There is a "bumped out" section specifically for the grill leaving
the main area of the deck unobstructed. The diagonal decking and the free-standing l-shaped bench (with cup holders) add visual
interest. Both of the accesses to grade are interesting as well. The wide ramp allows easy access to and from the back yard.
A railing was added to the outside of the ramp after these photos were taken. 6x6's were used to create the unique shape of
the steps flaring onto the patio area. After they were assembled, the steps were sanded to create nice soft, rounded
edges and corners.
