Deck - Schaller - April 2004
This deck will incorporate the existing
landing and will be constructed at an elevation that will not require perimeter handrails (guardrails). Building codes
require guardrails for any deck that is 30" or more above the ground. It will also be built as a "freestanding" deck (not
attached to the house). There will be a few steps and another landing to get from the existing landing down to the
new deck.
